Whitsand Bay is part of Cornwall’s stunning Rame Peninsula, miles of rugged coastline and fantastic beaches that make up what local’s regard with pride as “the forgotten corner of Cornwall”. Whitsand Bay Self Catering goes back many years in the area, with generations of tourists coming back year after year to experience the beauty of the local area. There are magnificent sea views from every home and a fantastic cliff top golf course adjacent to most of the properties.
We have a portfolio ranging from luxury high end villas to more traditional fishing cottages in the quiet and beautiful village of Portwrinkle, situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Our family have been living in the area for generations and we invest time and money in the area to ensure that both we and the area are constantly evolving.
We are currently building several phases of beautiful eco dwellings, available to rent in just a few months. These beautiful, modern apartments all have unparalelled sea views, as well as the best comfort that money can buy. From underfloor heating to jacuzzis on the roof, we are proud that these stunning apartments will provide you with the holiday of your dreams.
Whatever your tastes on holiday, we are sure you’ll find something to your liking; from playing golf, swimming, walking, or fishing – or just relaxing on one of our many local beaches or sampling the area’s renowned local seafood and fresh ales. For those more culturally-minded, there are historic fishing villages, stately homes and gardens such as Antony House and Mount Edgecumbe just a stone’s throw away. A short drive of around 30-40 minutes takes you to the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. And a short hope across the Tamar by foot or in a car will land you in the historic naval dockyard town of Plymouth, birthplace of the United States of America as we know it today.
Our tariffs for 2018 are available on each respective property page accessible from the menu. You can see where they are located within Portwrinkle on the photograph at the top of this page, and the Google Map below pinpoints them more accurately.
